What is Skale Network

Skale is a flexible, modular blockchain for building decentralized applications based on Ethereum. Skale is fully Ethereum 1 compatible and will be Ethereum 2 compatible thanks to its modular system. Skale makes Ethereum fast and scalable, brings containerization and virtualization technology to the decentralized space. Skale can be fast, secure and decentralized at the same time, thanks to its compactness, containerization, node rotation, and due to the fact that each dApp will have its own blockchain. For each decentralized application, a separate Ethereum network will be launched with a small number of validators randomly selected from the pool, which are constantly changing. This approach solves the problem of centralization.

About SKL token

Tokens are issued on the Ethereum platform in accordance with the ERC-777 standard, which, unlike ERC-20, supports token-level delegation. At the same time, the SKL tokens themselves remain in the crypto wallet of the holder. ERC-777 is fully backward compatible with ERC-20, which means it is supported by all members of the ERC-20-enabled Ethereum ecosystem. Delegation of the token to the validator does not occur directly, but only the secure delegation key is transmitted, storing the tokens in a cold or hot wallet of your choice.
